Get to Know Me
Born in Lafayette, Indiana into a family of artists, Jennifer grew up in Southern Virginia and after graduating from the Virginia Commonwealth University, spent 10 years in Southern California before settling in historic Park City, Utah where she lives today. It’s there that she finds creative inspiration from the stunningly beautiful Wasatch Mountains to Park City itself, known for its many art galleries and The Sundance Film Festival.
Although Jennifers formal education is in the sciences, she has always found great joy in the arts. As a coloratura soprano, she has sung in a number of groups in Park City including entertaining at the 2002 Winter Olympics.
Jennifer’s style of painting has always been impressionistic with vibrant colors and energy, but it can be said that she found her canine calling at the Westminster Dog Show! Although she started out photographing the pooches, she soon found herself inspired to put the brush to the canvas and the rest is history.
Needless to say, her exuberant style caught on and now commission pet portraits comprise the majority of her work and her paintings are displayed across the United States and in Zambia, Italy, England, and India.
